EXPERIENCE
 
Mark spent most of his career in the high tech industry working for leading companies such as eBay, XM Satellite Radio, Intuit, Microsoft, and Compaq/HP.  He has significant experience in high volume and complex product launches in hardware, software, internet and services.   Mark is currently COO at Rackspace, the Open Cloud Computing leader.    Previously, Mark was Chief Procurement Officer and VP of Operational Excellence at eBay/PayPal.    In 2006 he was named Senior Vice President of Operations for XM Satellite Radio responsible for a variety of operational functions.   Prior to that Mark spent over 14 years in the PC Software industry working for industry leading companies such as Intuit, Microsoft and Compaq/HP.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from Texas A&M University.   He has been recognized as one of the thought leaders in the Supply Chain profession and is a contributing member of the Stanford Supply Chain Forum in Palo Alto, CA.   He has also served on the advisory board for the College of Engineering at the University of Nevada.
